Born in the Netherlands, moved to the US in 1976.
Started painting in 1994. Six months later I had my first show
> at Zoey's Coffee shop. Many art shows followed, opened a Jazz show
with Wynton Marsales' Jazz Combo with my artwork on exhibit. Showed
in the Carver Cultural Center in 96. Appeared on PBS' Art-Beat in 96,
and showed at Jazz on Broadway.

Since then I have been selling my work through the Internet and
through showings in my Studio.

Am a very happy widow, have two beautiful daughters, and seven of
the most wonderful grand-babies.

I am a left-brain/right-brain person. During the day I teach
computer classes at a local college, including web-design, logic and design,
networking, and basic literacy classes.
During the midnight hours I become creative and mostly paint, other times
I sculpt, sew, weave, knit, crochet, recycle old computer parts and create objects
d'art, among other activities, depending on my mood.
